Caldicot is surrounded by historical sites with Caldicot Castle just across the village green and Caerwent Roman Town, Chepstow Castle, Caerleon Roman Fortress, Caerphilly Castle, Tredegar House, Cosmeston Medieval Village, Cardiff Castle, Tintern Abbey, and Raglan Castle being just a few of the local area's historic attractions.

If your interest is where the action is then Chepstow's Activity Centre offers quad biking, 4x4 driving, paint balling, combat laser games and sphere mania. There is also an abundance of fishing in the area as well as four supreme golf courses including the Celtic Manor Golf Club home to the Ryder Cup in 2010.

Other attractions such as Clearwell Caves, Chepstow Racecourse St. Fagans National History and the Forest of Dean Railway provide exciting days out. With Bristol only a 25 minute drive, Cardiff just half an hour away and Bath just a bit further you'll need more then a week to fit it all in.
